Grace: More than you can understand
We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.None of your actions can earn your salvation. Your salvation is not from yourself.
Psalm 33:20-21
You receive it through Faith ( the same way you receive a present), it is given to you because of His Grace.
The dictionary says:
Grace: Goodwill.
A good will is given to you just because He loves you, not because of your actions. We don't earn our salvation, Jesus earned it for us! By saying our actions earned it, we minimize the purpose of the cross!
And the cross is Grace!
What is salvation?
Salvation is everlasting life, happiness, freedom, health, provision, goodness, forgiveness, courage and confidence, purity...
When He died, He died for you to receive all the above.
To receive it from Him.
When we know Him we will not be striving to earn it, we will openly receive it through faith. Have you realized you can't achieve it with your own power? You constantly stumble and fail? And feel guilty and bad about yourself in the process? That's because you are relying on your ability... Something that we ourselves cannot accomplish.
So we can rejoice in our confidence in Him and rest assured in His grace that He is working through us, through those who SEEK HIM FIRST. 💗❤️
