The Good Race
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.Hebrews 12:1-2
We are running the good race 🏁 of faith. But we are not running 🏃🏃 it alone.
When you run a race your eyes 👀👀 are focused on the finish line, you have a target, a purpose. In this case God is advising us how to run our race when it comes to the race of faith for any circumstance in your life.
He advises us, instead of looking at the finish line, he tells us to keep our eyes 👀👀 on Jesus because He is the perfecter of Faith. With Him and through Him we can find the power and the abilities to successfully run our race 🏁 fearlessly. Because this time you are not just running 🏃 alone, to reach the finish line.. God is stating clearly that someone is there, running with you, running for your, cheering you along the way and practically making your way available because He is the perfecter of faith.If you can see someone, he is in a close distance , if your eyes are fixed on someone, he surely isn't far away.
How clearly can you see Him?
How close have you invited Him in your race? I cannot say that enough. If you are running a race, there is only one thing that can help you,and that is Jesus.
He is the pioneer of faith! He rose from the dead, and you doubt if he can help you in your race? No self help book, no works of the flesh, no conferences, no manuals, can offer what He has to offer... I have tried all that, and nothing compared with His living, faithful spirit that can act through you!
He is who you want to meet, get to know Him, grab his Hand and run the race with Him by your side.
